Korean Folk Traditions Class (Minhwa) for Students

In an effort to educate younger generations about Korea’s rich artistic heritage, Kate Oh Art Inc. hosted a lecture on traditional Korean Minhwa painting for students of all ages. The session provided an in-depth introduction to the philosophy, motifs, and techniques of Minhwa, making Korean traditional art more accessible in an academic context. This program reflects the organization’s commitment to nurturing cultural appreciation and promoting global understanding of Korean art through education. The lecture was led by a distinguished scholar who has taught Korean art and culture at esteemed institutions such as Rutgers, Princeton, Wellesley, and HCUND (Hospitality Committee for United Nations Delegations).
